TRUMAN GONZALES GROUND ROUND PLAYER SPOTLIGHT

Blizzard Forward, #8 Truman Gonzales was born on May 10th, 1995 to Michelle and Rodney Gonzales.  He has one younger sister named Isabel Gonzales.  During his season long stay in Brookings, Truman has been billeted by the Rice Family.  Truman is from Arvada, Colorado and has been playing hockey since the age of six. His favorite hockey memory has to be when he scored his first Junior Hockey goal.  Truman has spent time with the Powell River Kings and the Janesville Jets.

Truman's favorite thing about Brookings is definitely that there seems to be a lot to do here, even if it is a small community.  Outside of hockey, Truman really loves to play the guitar.  He also noted that his favorite movie is Mulan.  When asked about a fun fact about himself, Truman told us he used to participate in choir.

Truman's goal for this season is to make playoffs with the Blizzard and keep rolling after that.  After his junior hockey career, Truman wishes to attend a college in Colorado and major in Business. As a 6'1" Blizzard Forward, Truman has played in 41 of the 48 games this season, after spending some time recovering from a concussion.  Now that Truman is healthy and back at it, catch him and the Blizzard next Saturday, March 7th as they battle the Bruins.
