OSCAR ODD Ground Round Player of the Week

This week’s Ground Round Player of the Week is, Forward #15, Oscar ODD!! Oscar has been playing hockey for the past 14 years and this is his first year as a Blizzard. He is from Sweden, and has come all the way to Brookings, South Dakota to play junior hockey. Oscar's billet family is the Myer family. Oscar is also one of our assistant captains.  The Blizzard are very excited about the things Oscar has to bring to the table when it comes to hockey. He has 11 points this season. This season, Oscar is one of three Blizzard players who reign from Sweden.

Outside of hockey, Oscar enjoys playing floorball, wakeboarding, and being with friends. His favorite NHL team is the Washington Capitals. During the winter when he isn’t playing hockey he enjoys skiing.   

Oscar’s goal for this season is to play the best he can and make it to the playoffs. His leadership and skill will help the team in their quest for the Robertson Cup.  After junior hockey, Oscar hopes to play hockey for a Division I program.  Come to Saturday's contest, December 13th, to get your Oscar Odd Ground Round Playing Card!
