Brookings 3-2

Brookings hosted the Chill in their final regular season home series looking to avenge two losses in Lacrosse, WI back in early November. The Blizzard jumped out to a 2-0 lead with goals from Brendan Aird, and Josh Boyer just a minute and a half apart midway through the first. Haiden Karnick set up Aird on a nice two on one feed for the one timer from Aird, and Parker Revering picked up the assist on Boyer’s 27th goal of the season. The Chill came back in the second with a power play goal and a shorthanded goal to force a 2-2 tie heading into the 3rd period. Max Sasson scored the lone third period goal, his 11th of the year four and a half minutes in. Sasson swept through the crease and scored on the rebound off an initial rush from Carson Kosobud. Adam Bryzgala saved 29 of 31 in the Blizzard victory.
